A very friendly group of mixed ability from beginners to more able players.  Very supportive leader.  Refreshments included.

MONTHLY:-

BOOK CLUB

Every fourth Friday of the month at 14.00 at 52 Priory Close, Ditton. Enjoy a relaxed chat over a cuppa about what members have been reading recently. There are no set books, so variety is guaranteed.

CRAFT

Every fourth Friday of the month at Church Farm Hall at 13.30. Members practise a wide range of different crafts with a variety of demonstrators and pool their experience. Refreshments? Of course!

CYCLING

Starting at 10.00 on a Tuesday (winter excluded) rides are usually between twelve and eighteen miles on relatively flat routes. They start from a variety of mainly local points and always feature a cafe stop around half way.

GARDENING

At 14.00 on the second Monday of each month, the group meets at a member’s home to share their gardening knowledge and experience. Occasional visits are also made to some of the gardens of interest around the county.

OUTINGS

The Outings Team Organise events throughout the year to places of interest, the seaside, meals out, fun events and shows. Some are by coach using local pick-up points.  The more local outings members make their own independent travel arrangements. Information on forthcoming events are publicised at the Outings Table at the monthly meetings.

PETANQUE

Held at The Duke of Wellington, Ryarsh on the first Thursday of the month at 10.00am April to October. A convivial atmosphere is always guaranteed.  Lunch is optional.

QUIZZES

A 50p monthly quiz is circulated at each general meeting on the third Friday of the month. A small prize is awarded to the winner and profits are donated to the charities we regularly support. Occasional quiz afternoons or evenings are also held and we usually put teams into KentARA quizzes. They are also a standby if outdoor activities get rained off.

STROLLS

A not too energetic walk is held on the second Friday of each month, starting at 10.15. Different routes, usually a maximum of two or three miles long, are strolled from a variety of local points and frequently end with the opportunity for a pub lunch.

TEN PIN BOWLING

10.45 at the Hollywood Bowl in Maidstone on the fourth Friday of the month is the time for this activity, excluding school holidays. All abilities are welcome and it is a chance to relive some of the days of your youth.
